Too Good To Be True?
February 19, 2003

HERE IS A REAL BARGAIN!!  TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE?  JUST TRY IT!

1999 ROSENBLUM RESERVE - YATES RANCH, MT VEEDER, NAPA VALLEY
- I had my eye on this wine in late December, but could not order it since the store was going to be closed for remodeling.  I was shocked to find it still available in February, especially since only about 600 cases were produced.  Of course, Rosenblum is know for its great fruit driven Zins and maybe this is the reason this wine has been "overlooked".  Usually, mountain grown Cabernet Sauvignon has more obvious tannic structure and cellaring is required to resolve the astringency.  However, this wine proves contrary to theory as its immediate approachability beckons for your attention!  If you like sweet vanillin scents and gobs of chocolaty-black cherry fruit on the palate, and a soft plush mouthfeel, then this is your wine!!  In recent issues Connoisseur's Guide has given it 91 points and California Grapevine 90 points.

The winery's price is $48 a bottle.

I have a LIMITED amount for $25.95 A BOTTLE.  ORDER NOW!!   INVOICE CONFIRMATION WILL BE EMAILED IN THE ORDER RECEIVED!

Thank you!
