In placing a wine order with The Wine
Consultant, you represent yourself as being an adult (at least 21 years
of age). An adult signature is required at time of delivery.
Some states require each parcel to
include the notice "Not to be delivered to intoxicated persons".
The Wine Consultant does not upcharge
any UPS costs to ship your order. Your order includes replacement
value insurance for the first $100 (35 cents for every $100
increment). The Wine Consultant does charge a nominal fee, depending
on the amount and size of bottles
to ship, to cover the cost of
packing materials, processing and handling your order. Unless you are
a resident living within a 500 mile radius of Sacramento, The Wine
Consultant recommends shipping 2nd Day Air during the summer month.
UPS does not insure against heat damaged wine. Although The Wine
Consultant takes great care to insure your wine order arrives safely
to its destination, it is not responsible for temperature damaged
wine. During the remainder of the year, The Wine Consultant
recommends "6 Day Ground Track" service by UPS.
Here's an
idea! With airlines security being more stringent, why not send your
wine a head to your vacation or holiday destination!?
Please provide the following
information for a shipping rate quote: the Zip Code
for the ship address (business or residential), how many bottles you
would like to ship, estimated value.
Please pick up your
orders.......or if you missed out!
2001 Jim
Barry Shiraz - The Lodge Hill from Clare Valley in South Australia has
arrived and is ready to pick up please. I received 40 six packs of
this wine, but there are still about 36 bottles "unclaimed". The
bottle price is $14.95 and discounts up to 10% for six bottles. This
wine received 90 points in the Wine Spectator.
2001
Nekeas Vega Sindoa Chardonnay from Navarra, Spain has
also arrived and is ready to pick up please. Regretfully, on July 1st.
the distributor raised the price of this gem from $11.50 a bottle to
$13.50. However, with my 10% discount on 6 bottles ($12.15), or 15%
discount on 12 or more bottles ($11.48) I challenge anybody to find a
better value in Chardonnay than this gem!! Robert Parker called
it the best Chardonnay value in the market and gave it 89 points!
