- When the 2000 vintage was released, I stated this might be
the "next" Leonetti! I sold 18 cases of this St.-Emilion
style blend at $40 a bottle. It received 94 points from the Wine
Spectator a few months later. Last summer when the 2001 Uriah was
allocated, the winery reduced my "share" to five cases. The
wine again received 94 points from the Wine
Spectator and placed #13 in its Top 100
Wines of 2003. Well, I just received my 30
bottle allocation of the splendid 2002 vintage!! 65%
Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot - 17 months in 80%
new and 20% one vintage old barrel - 75% French oak.

full-bodied wine with exceptional balance, purity, focus, and length.
